Design Producer, Advertising Tools (remote)

This is a 6-month, full-time (40 hours/week), remote contract role with occasional collaboration aligned to Culver City, CA and Cupertino, CA.

This role supports a Product Design team focused on website and user experience design for internal web tools and software interfaces. The Design Producer partners closely with Design Managers, designers, and cross-functional teams to drive project planning, clarify design goals, lead reviews, and ensure high-quality delivery of design solutions that support broader business and user experience objectives.

• 7+ years of experience as a producer or project manager within software design, digital, or creative agency environments
• Passion for design with a strong foundation in UX/UI, software ideation, and delivery processes
• Proficient in cross-functional project management, design workflows, and stakeholder coordination
• Familiar with desktop, mobile, and native application design best practices
• Skilled in collaborating with design, product, engineering, marketing, and business teams
• Able to work independently while managing multiple complex projects simultaneously
• Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Resourceful, proactive, and results-oriented with a positive, high-energy mindset

In this role, you will support and represent the design team by managing cross-functional relationships and driving end-to-end design production workflows. You'll partner with Design Managers to plan projects, set milestones, track issues, and negotiate priorities amid limited resources and aggressive timelines.

This includes leading design brainstorms, workshops, meetings, and reviews; capturing decisions and action items; and reporting weekly project health and status updates. You will ensure timely handoff of design specifications to engineering and partner with product and engineering teams to maintain design integrity through implementation.

You will also manage image schedules, resource planning, and imagery tracking; communicate with creative and retouching teams; mitigate risk; unblock stalled projects; and continuously improve workflows and processes. Additional responsibilities include coordinating pre- and post-production meetings, distributing accurate project documentation, supporting asset archiving, and leveraging tools to streamline production efficiency.

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience

Background in design production, UX, product design, or digital creative environments

Experience working closely with engineering and product partners

The pay for this W-2 position is $100 per hour
