The OpportunityJoin our talent network and connect with U.S. clients for flexible, project‑based development work as a Site Reliability Engineer. You will integrate directly into our client’s team and work alongside their existing designers and engineers on a daily basis.
Responsibilities- Integrate directly into the client’s team and collaborate with designers and engineers on a daily basis.
- Design, implement, and maintain highly available, scalable, and reliable infrastructure on AWS.
- Drive continuous integration and delivery pipelines using Terraform, Git, and CI/CD tooling.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and root‑cause production incidents, ensuring rapid resolution and post‑incident analysis.
- Apply security best practices to cloud and container environments.
- Contribute to open source libraries and internal tooling as needed.
- 5+ years of professional experience as a Site Reliability Engineer.
- 5+ years of experience working with Linux systems and tooling.
- Advanced proficiency in English is required.
- Successful completion of a four‑year college degree is required.
- Deep expertise with Kubernetes, specifically Amazon EKS.
- Strong experience managing containers using Docker.
- Hands‑on AWS experience (EC2, VPC, IAM, Cloud Watch, Load Balancers, Route 53).
- Proficiency with Terraform and Infrastructure‑as‑Code workflows.
- Strong background building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Expertise with Git‑based version control systems.
- Fluency in Python or Bash scripting.
- Solid understanding of networking protocols: TCP/IP, UDP, DNS, HTTP, TLS.
- Experience with observability tools (Cloud Watch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK).
- Knowledge of cloud and container security best practices.
- Experience troubleshooting production issues and performing root cause analysis.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in Agile/Scrum teams.
- Ability to take extreme ownership and deliver on commitments.
- Ability to consistently work 40 hours per week.
