- Lead the design and implementation of data science and machine learning projects, ensuring alignment with business challenges
- Drive projects through all phases of the data science lifecycle, from data discovery to deployment and feedback
- Architect scalable data science solutions using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and modern data engineering tools
- Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to clarify objectives and iterate on requirements
- Mentor team members and promote best practices within the data science team
- Advanced degree (PhD or MS) in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or a related field
- Strong foundation in optimization algorithms, stochastic modeling, and systems analysis
- Proficiency in Python and various machine learning libraries such as Tensor Flow, PyTorch, and Scikit-learn
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform services, including Vertex AI, Big Query, and AI Platform, or equivalent experience in Azure/AWS
- Experience with healthcare data, clinical research protocols, and regulatory compliance
- Previous experience leading data science projects in a professional environment
- Familiarity with additional programming languages or data engineering tools
- Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and compliance standards
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with diverse stakeholders
