IT Project Manager, IT Consultant

We are currently seeking a WMS Rollout Manager– Blue Yonder for a leading electrical manufacturer in Hessen, Germany. This role can be performed remotely, with significant travel required to Germany and other global locations. The project is scheduled to start in Q1 2026 and conclude by Q4 2027.

Support the global rollout of the Blue Yonder WMS across 80 sites by providing process modeling, blueprinting, and implementation expertise. Ensure smooth integration and adaptation of the system while documenting best practices for future rollouts.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Lead the end-to-end global rollout of Blue Yonder WMS across 80 sites, ensuring timely and successful implementation.
- Coordinate with local teams, IT departments, logistics, and external consultants to drive rollout activities and system integration.
- Develop and optimize business processes, creating detailed blueprints to support the implementation.
- Establish standardized templates and document best practices for use in future rollouts.
- Monitor project milestones, track risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure smooth deployment.
- Facilitate training sessions and support adoption of the new software across all sites.
- Provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders on rollout progress and performance.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in software launches within logistics environments, particularly WMS systems.
- Hands‑on experience with Blue Yonder (JDA) or similar systems.
- Proven expertise in process modeling and blueprinting for complex systems.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills across diverse teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast‑paced, international environment.
- Experience with global software rollouts.
- Understanding of logistics and supply chain processes in manufacturing.
- Multilingual capabilities, especially English and German.
- Work is normally performed in an office, laboratory, manufacturing floor, or machine shop setting where physical work includes, but is not limited to, sitting, standing, reaching, kneeling, bending, and lifting up to 25 lbs.
- Must be able to understand and comply with all relevant safety practices.
