Project Manager (S4 HANA Transformation) – Remote
Duration: 11 Months

Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 40 hours. 8am – 5pm, with some flexibility required based on work with global teams. OT not anticipated.
Travel:
Travel dependent on project phase
Assignment expected through end of year. Possibility of extension based on demand.
Job Description Responsibilities- Assemble project team, assign responsibilities, and develop schedule to ensure timely completion.
- Develop project scope and objectives, defining roles to effectively coordinate team activities.
- Provide guidance to subordinates based on organizational goals and standards.
- Establish operating standards and procedures affecting subordinate units.
- Act as advisor to supervisory members to meet schedules and resolve technical or operational issues.
- Develop and administer budgets, schedules, and performance standards.
- Maintain frequent contacts with equivalent level managers and customer representatives concerning projects, scheduling requirements, or contractual clarifications.
- Assess and utilize best fit project management process to meet program and project objectives.
- Plan and execute project communication, setting appropriate expectations and communicating status with all stakeholder groups.
- Work with sponsor to ensure planned business value is progressing according to plan.
- Coordinate vendor management (RFI, RFP, SOW, etc.) aligned with Global Sourcing partner.
- Address change management in organization, technology, architecture, and business readiness.
- Coordinate quality outcomes through test planning and execution.
- Execute project plan deliverables, including operational readiness with the appropriate team members.
- Facilitate issue communication and resolution.
- 5 years of project management experience.
- Required:
Bachelor’s degree (preferred) or Associate’s degree (minimum) plus equivalent 5 years of project management experience. - Advanced computer skills.
- Prior experience managing an ERP (S4
HANA) transformation project. - Manage large projects through the entire process.
- Explain technical concepts in non-technical language.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with facilitation skills across global program/project teams.
- Strong financial acumen and prior project budget experience.
- Project / Program Management processes.
- Facilitation skills across program and project teams.
- Communication / collaboration skills.
- Hands‑on experience managing application enhancements.
- Working knowledge of handling backlog.
- Adaptable with critical thinking skills to manage risk and provide recommendations.
- Hands‑on experience in ERP and manufacturing technologies (e.g., SAP S4
HANA, Camstar, etc.) and cloud implementations. - Ability to explain technical concepts in non‑technical language.
- Written, verbal, and training skills.
- Financial acumen.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to learn quickly and transfer knowledge to others.
- Project Management Institute (PMI) PMP Certified (active certification number required).
- Agile/Scrum Certified (e.g., Scrum Master) – Desired.
- Knowledge of SDLC as a quality framework for project management.
- ITIL and/or ISO understanding.
- Negotiation skills and experience.
- Contract management experience for project delivery.
- Prior experience in a similar or equivalent position.
