Axmed is building a global B2B medicines marketplace, where commercial decision‑making depends on clear insights, trusted data, and a deep understanding of how suppliers and buyers behave. We are hiring a Commercial Insights & Data Associate to transform pharmaceutical datasets, marketplace activity, and customer behaviour into actionable insights that drive growth, alignment, and decision‑making.

This role is commercial first, insight‑driven, and grounded in understanding how data shapes marketplace decisions, pricing, product, regulatory demand, and customer engagement.

You will own the commercial analytics environment, build intuitive dashboards, extract relevant data, and interpret and translate insights into clear commercial and enterprise implications. Sitting within the CEO Office, it is a high‑impact opportunity to shape how a Series A marketplace uses data to drive strategy, enable cross‑functional execution, support customer success, and scale commercial performance.

• Analyse marketplace behaviour to uncover insights that improve supplier and buyer conversion.
• Interpret pharmaceutical datasets (tenders, pricing, product lists, supplier catalogues, demand signals) to identify commercial opportunities.
• Build dashboards that answer strategic questions rather than simply visualise data.
• Produce clear recommendations and commercial narratives based on your analysis.
• Support customer‑facing teams with insight packs demonstrating platform usage and value.

• Diagnose conversion bottlenecks across the commercial funnel.
• Identify mismatches between supply and demand and propose commercial interventions.
• Drive alignment between Commercial and Tech on which insights matter and why.
• Help shape how Axmed uses data to prioritise activities and refine its marketplace strategy.

• Own and manage our BI workspace (Meta Base preferred). Ensure dashboards are accurate, intuitive, and easy for the Commercial team to self‑serve.
• Extract data using SQL and Python when needed (not infrastructure building).
• Source and integrate new pharma‑related data sources to strengthen our market understanding.
• Enable enterprise‑level decision‑making by transforming commercial, marketplace, and ecosystem data into clear, decision‑ready insights for the CEO and senior leadership.
• Contribute to building Axmed’s enterprise intelligence layer by supporting shared BI assets, insight packs, and analytical narratives used across the company.
• Help align teams around what matters most by translating data into prioritisation signals that inform strategy, execution focus, and resource allocation.
• Support the CEO Office with insight briefs, performance readouts, and strategic analyses that increase decision speed, confidence, and coherence.

• Serve as the bridge between Tech (data pipelines) and Commercial teams.
• Convert technical datasets into simple, commercially meaningful insights.
• Highlight trends and anomalies with clear implications for growth and strategy.

• 2–3 years in pharma, global health, healthcare, or a related commercial insights role.
• Strong understanding of pharma market dynamics, supplier/buyer behaviour, or procurement processes.
• Ability to interpret and communicate data through a commercial and strategic lens.
• Experience researching and integrating external market data sources.
• Effective communication with non‑technical teams.
• Autonomous, proactive, and comfortable operating in a fast‑moving Series A environment.
• Proficiency with BI tools (Metabase preferred).
• SQL for slicing and querying data.
• Python for data manipulation and blending multiple datasets.
• Experience cleaning, transforming, and structuring datasets.
• Ability to derive statistical insights from information‑rich datasets.
• Ability to work with pharma datasets (tenders, pricing, catalogues, supplier data).
