• If you live within 50 miles of the Aflac offices in Columbus, GA or Columbia, SC, this role will be hybrid. You will be expected to work in the office for at least 60% of the work week, with the remainder from home.
• If you live more than 50 miles from the Aflac offices, this role will be remote. You will work from home within the continental US, with occasional office visits communicated in advance.

• Advanced experience with Salesforce configuration and best practices.
• Experience managing Salesforce administrative functions such as user profiles, permissions, permission sets, roles, etc.
• Knowledge of and experience with Salesforce and related licensing.
• Willingness and ability to stay current with Salesforce updates and provide strategic recommendations.
• Strong analytical skills including troubleshooting across the platform and its hardware/software components.
• Proven experience in Scrum and Dev Ops methodologies.
• Ability to guide and mentor junior team members.
• Solid communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal clients and stakeholders at all levels.
• Lead small and medium projects.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Four or more years of experience in release practices and environments or related experience.

Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Salesforce Administrator Certification or other Salesforce certifications.

• Provides support on architectural design and maintenance of the platform’s (COTS, SaaS, ERP) environment with distributed components.
• Ensures compliance with the organization’s requirements through implementation, auditing, and adherence to policies, procedures, and security standards.
• Plans software upgrades, patching, and plugin installations in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Monitors performance, resolves problems, and manages component capacity issues.
• Design, test, develop, configure, and maintain integrations to platform applications.
• Adhere to the platform’s security and coding standards for resilience, data, and security.
• Review business requirements to deploy the best solution, including configuring, coding, and debugging.
• Work closely with cross‑functional departments to communicate statuses and technical proposals.
• Deploy and configure platform applications tailored to company needs.
• Design technical solutions, configure/customize, test, and maintain platform applications to meet company requirements.
• Perform other duties as required.

The salary range for this job is $88,000 - $140,000. This range is specific to the job and salary offers consider a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including, but not limited to: education, experience, licensure, certifications, geographic location, and peer compensation.
