Job Title:
Control-M Technical Administrator
Duration: 6-month contract
Location:
Austin, Texas
- 8+ Years of extensive hands-on experience in Control-M installation, configuration, and administration skills (version 8.0 and higher)
- 8+ Years of extensive hands-on experience with Control-M batch development skills
- 8+ Years of experience with IBM z/OS or Z/13 operating systems
- 8+ Years of experience with Unix/Linux Server Operation System
- 8+ Years of extensive hands-on experience with component security Full Control-M and E/M Security
- 7+ Years of experience with CTM, E/M databases, and structure
- 7+ Years of working knowledge of: JES3, TSO, JCL, CICS, DB2, RMM
- 3+ Years of experience in training/knowledge transfer of Control-M administration
- 3+ Years of knowledge of Perl, VBS, Java
- 3+ Years of proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Office products
- 1+ Year of public sector experience (Federal, State, or Local Government)
- 1+ Year of experience with a ticketing assignment system (such as Service Now)
- BMC Certification for Control M and/or Control M/Enterprise Manager
The Worker will perform highly complex (senior-level) Control-M administration and scheduling computer systems analysis work, maintaining and running the Control-M and Control-M Enterprise Manager software.
Responsibilities include:
- Administering the CPA’s automated job scheduling system, Control-M
- Analyzing and testing new or existing procedures, information systems, or utility programs for efficiency and effectiveness
- Providing technical support to controlled systems, including all versions of UNIX, z/13, and Windows
- Troubleshooting and taking corrective action for problems involving Control-M dependencies
- Utilizing Control-M Event Manager to create and maintain rule definitions

- Ability to retain knowledge of environment and systems once given instruction
Worker will be required to work on-site with the team, with limited remote work options. On-call requirement:
Worker may be required to provide after-hours on-call support.
Special Requirements
