At Greyd, we value clarity, ownership, and thoughtful engineering. We’re not a typical Word Press company – and we’re not looking for a typical developer.

We’re building the world’s first Word Press-native enterprise suite, helping agencies and enterprises manage large, complex Word Press setups in a sustainable way. That means scalable architecture, clear separation of concerns, and well-considered solutions instead of quick fixes or plugin overload.

You’ll help engineer the tools that enable agencies and enterprises to manage hundreds of sites efficiently – while keeping our architecture flexible, maintainable, and future-proof.

What you’ll actually do:

• Work across product and projects
  :
  You’ll contribute both to client projects and to the core Greyd.
  
  Suite. This helps ensure our product solves real problems and continues to improve based on practical experience.
• Develop and own features
  :
  Based on clear briefs, you’ll independently build new features for Greyd.
  
  Suite. We trust our developers and value clean, well-structured, and performant solutions.
• Maintain and improve code quality
  :
  You’ll participate in code reviews, refactor existing code where needed, and help reduce technical debt over time – always with stability and security in mind.
• Investigate and resolve issues
  :
  When bugs arise, you’ll help analyze and resolve them and support our technical support team with deeper insights when needed.
• Contribute ideas
  :
  You’re encouraged to share ideas for new features and improvements and to actively shape the future direction of Greyd.

• Languages (non negotiable):
  Fluent English is required for documentation and international collaboration. German at C1 level or higher is important for day-to-day communication within the team.
• Location
  :
  You’re based in the EMEA time zone to support close, synchronous collaboration.
• Experience
  : 3–5 years of experience working on client projects and/or digital products.
• Modern Word Press
  :
  Comfortable with REST APIs, Hooks & Filters, JSON-based configuration, and the Block Editor / Site Editor (FSE).
• Workflow
  :
  Git is part of your daily work. Jira helps us stay aligned and organized.
