Program Manager III – Cloud Services (Remote)

GAMA-1 Technologies seeks a highly experienced Program Manager III to support our growing Cloud Services practice and advance cloud modernization initiatives that increase IT efficiency, improve delivery, and reduce costs.

• Lead the planning, execution, and final delivery of multiple AWS migration projects.
• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
• Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets, including resource allocation.
• Identify, track, and manage project risks and issues, developing mitigation strategies as necessary.
• Coordinate internal resources, third‑party vendors, and technical teams for flawless migration execution.
• Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular status updates, managing expectations, and resolving conflicts.
• Work closely with Solution Architects and Engineers to define migration strategies (e.g., Rehost, Replatform, Refactor).
• Oversee the entire migration lifecycle from discovery and assessment to cutover and post‑migration support.
• Maintain project documentation, including migration plans, status reports, and lessons learned.
• Lead cloud optimization initiatives, including performance monitoring, cost management, and operational efficiency.
• Develop tools, documentation, and playbooks to enable support organizations to resolve complex cloud architecture scenarios.
• Mentor and guide customer teams on best practices in cloud architecture, Dev Ops, and emerging technologies.

Work closely with project managers to guide their teams and monitor progress.

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 7+ years of IT project management experience, with at least 3 years focused on cloud migration projects (AWS preferred).
• Proven experience managing end‑to‑end IT infrastructure and application migration projects.
• Solid understanding of cloud computing concepts and AWS foundational services (e.g., EC2, S3, VPC, RDS, IAM).
• Strong knowledge of migration strategies and tools.
• PMP or equivalent certification.

• AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or AWS Certified Project Manager (if available).
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Familiarity with compliance and security requirements in cloud environments.
• Experience leading cross‑functional teams located in various offices.

• Ability to obtain a Security Clearance.
• Remote work with occasional client site visits.
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Travel to client site as needed.
• Proficiency in all essential job functions, tools, and processes within the first 90 days.

Competitive salary range: $175,000 – $225,000 per year. Additional benefits include health insurance, retirement contributions, and professional development opportunities.
