Service Now Developer
Phoenix Cyber is seeking a skilled Service Now Developer to support our customers’ configuration and development objectives. This is a fully remote position. A successful Service Now Developer will demonstrate competency in Service Now and understand the full implementation cycle of Service Now while upholding the highest standard of ethical behavior.
Key Qualifications- 5+ years of Software Development experience
- 3+ years of Service Now Development experience
- Understanding of Java, Integration, and API Development experience
- Demonstrated experience in development, implementation and deployment of Service Now modules using Agile Dev Sec Ops techniques in a client environment
- Demonstrated experience with Service Now platform capabilities in a client environment
- Demonstrated experience with the Service Now Business Rules and the scripting aspects of the Service Now Platform
- Secret/TS Security Clearance required
- CompTIA Security+
- Service Now Certified System Administrator
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or ICAgile Certified
- Configured and customize core Service Now modules such as GRC, ITSM, ITOM, HR, CSM, or other applications
- Design, develop, and implement custom Service Now applications and modules to meet business requirements
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, understand business needs, and translate them into technical solutions within Service Now
- Create and manage workflows and automated processes using Service Now's Flow Designer, Workflow Editor, and Business Rules
- Build and customize UI components using Service Now’s UI policies, UI actions, client scripts, and Glide scripting
- Develop and implement solutions for platform administration, including user access management, system configuration, and performance monitoring
- Perform unit testing and support user acceptance testing to ensure high-quality code and proper functionality
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design documents, architecture diagrams, and user guides
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing Service Now implementations, resolving issues and applying upgrades as needed
- Actively participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
- Stay current with the latest Service Now releases and features, providing recommendations for platform improvements
- Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices in Service Now development and data handling
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure integration with other enterprise systems, databases, and tools
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Service Now performance, functionality, and integrations
- Develop and maintain integrations between Service Now and external systems using REST, SOAP, pre-built Spokes, and other integration technologies
