Akave is transforming the decentralized data management space with a modular layer built on top of the Filecoin ecosystem. We leverage ZK-SNARKs to power an object store that unlocks optimized and tiered storage solutions for decentralized AI and edge compute workloads. We are looking for a Technical Product Manager (TPM) to lead the development and execution of our decentralized data management products. The TPM will be responsible for driving product strategy, leading cross-functional teams, and working closely with customers and stakeholders to ensure the product aligns with market needs. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and customer-facing skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into impactful business solutions.

In addition to product management, the TPM will engage directly with customers during the pre-sales and implementation phases, ensuring that Akave's products meet their technical requirements and add value to their operations.

Product Strategy & Management:

• Lead the development of product roadmaps and prioritize features based on business objectives, customer feedback, and market trends.
• Work closely with engineering teams to define product specifications, oversee development, and ensure timely delivery of new features and improvements.
• Manage the entire product lifecycle from ideation through to launch, continuously optimizing based on user insights and performance data.
• Ensure that product designs are aligned with customer needs, with a particular focus on usability, scalability, and integration capabilities.

Customer Engagement & Support:

• Serve as the primary technical point of contact for customers during pre-sales discussions, helping to align their needs with Akave's product offerings.
• Facilitate product demonstrations, answer technical questions, and collaborate with customers to ensure smooth onboarding and implementation.
• Translate customer requirements into actionable product features, working closely with engineering to deliver solutions that meet both technical and business needs.
• Provide ongoing technical support and guidance to ensure that customers are fully utilizing Akave’s products.

Collaboration & Leadership:

• Collaborate closely with the executive team to align product vision with business strategy.
• Foster cross-functional communication between engineering, sales, and customer success teams to ensure seamless product delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Play a key role in shaping the technical direction of the product, staying informed on industry trends and emerging technologies, particularly within decentralized storage and AI.

Market & Competitive Analysis:

• Conduct market research and analysis to understand customer needs, trends, and opportunities within the decentralized storage space.
• Identify and evaluate opportunities for new product features and enhancements that align with Akave’s growth strategy.
• Stay informed on competitors’ offerings and contribute to the development of acompetitive differentiation strategy.

Technical Expertise:

• 5+ years of experience in product management or a technical role, ideally within decentralized technologies, storage solutions, or AI.
• Proficiency in modern programming languages such as Go, JavaScript/Type Script, orsimilar.
• Strong background in decentralized storage technologies, cloud platforms (AWS, S3), and distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience working with REST APIs, security protocols, and data storage solutions.
• Familiarity with blockchain technologies and decentralized infrastructure is a plus.
