Job DescriptionThe Judiciary seeks an experienced full‑stack Drupal developer to create pre‑release test scripts and conduct both automated and manual testing on Drupal websites.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, apply, and implement automated tests using Playwright.
- Maintain and update tests to keep pace with code changes and deployments.
- Collaborate with team members and other teams on planning, development, testing, deployment, support, and enhancement of Drupal websites.
- Execute manual testing and troubleshoot issues, providing insight into solutions.
- Communicate with management and stakeholders to clarify business requirements.
- Implement best practices for web accessibility according to the latest guidelines.
- Participate in code quality checks and deployment processes.
- Work with cloud platform vendors and infrastructure support teams to create and manage cloud‑hosted website environments and code repositories.
- Perform code updates to keep websites stable and secure.
- Stay current with Drupal developments and industry trends.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to team members on best practices and efficient use of Drupal.
- Ensure all websites meet Judiciary information security standards.
- 4+ years of experience in Drupal site building, features, theming, and user interface development.
- 4+ years of working with the Drupal 10 and 11 ecosystem (Git, Composer, TWIG) and Playwright.
- 4+ years of Delphi architecture strategy and site testing strategy development.
- 4+ years of coding and debugging in PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/jQuery.
- 4+ years of experience in iterative development environments (Jira, Git Hub Projects, Agile, SCRUM).
- 6+ years of maintaining tests in sync with code changes.
- 6+ years of advanced PHP development (Symfony, Composer).
- Desired:
Acquia Drupal Developer Certification and 4+ years of experience. - Desired: 5+ years familiarity with Acquia tools (Cloud IDE, Acquia Pipelines, BLT, DDEV, Acquia Cloud).
- Required:
Bachelor’s degree. - Required:
Proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS3, SASS, and Twig. - Required:
Experience version control & package management (Git, Composer). - Required:
Understanding of accessibility standards and inclusive web development practices. - Required:
Ability to write secure code/tests following Drupal coding standards and security guidelines.
Experience with Drupal version 10/11, advanced test scripting, documentation, and mentorship are highly valued. The role may involve contributing to broader web development tasks and generating detailed troubleshooting steps and development requirements.
