Job Title:
Senior Web Accessibility Tester
Location:
Remote – Hartford, CT
Duration: 12 Months
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Accessibility Tester with extensive experience in manual and automated accessibility testing, assistive technologies, document accessibility, and automation integration. This is a remote full-time position, offering the opportunity to work with enterprise-scale clients and impactful projects.
RequiredSkills & Qualifications
- 5 years in software/web testing, with 3 years in dedicated accessibility testing.
- Expert-level knowledge of WCAG 2.1 AA, Section 508, ADA Title II/III, and PDF/UA standards.
- Advanced proficiency in NVDA screen reader testing.
- Strong experience with manual accessibility tools: ANDI, Sitebulb, browser dev tools.
- Proficiency with automated scanners: axe Dev Tools, Evinced, ARC Toolkit, Pa11y, Siteimprove.
- Expertise in PDF accessibility testing and remediation validation.
- Experience building and running automated accessibility scripts (axe-core, Playwright, Selenium, Cypress).
- Knowledge of HTML, ARIA, CSS, and JavaScript from an accessibility perspective.
- Strong defect documentation and communication skills.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
