Senior IBM Master Data Management & Integration Developer – Myticas Consulting
We’re hiring a Senior IBM Master Data Management (MDM) & Integration Developer for a hybrid contract role based in Lansing, MI. The role focuses on integrating and maintaining IBM Info Sphere MDM v11.x and related integration services.
Key Responsibilities- Write high-level functional requirement documents.
- Work on Linux operating systems and develop Power Shell scripts.
- Use Git and Git Hub for code repositories.
- Collaborate with Database Administrators to develop and execute SQL scripts.
- Create monthly reports for MDM applications.
- Engage with clients to resolve tasks and tickets in MPI and MIDSP.
- Deploy and manage certificates on Windows and Linux systems.
- Coordinate with infrastructure teams (server, network) for maintenance and issue resolution.
- Execute full SDLC including gathering requirements and writing functional/technical specifications.
- Prototype, mockups, and user reviews.
- Design flowcharts and screen layouts for system requirements.
- Assist with Enterprise Architecture Solution Assessment, hosting documents, and firewall rules.
- Strong hands‑on experience with IBM Info Sphere MDM v11.x: data models, entities, transactions, batch processing, configuration, customization, troubleshooting.
- Deep understanding of MDM concepts and IBM MDM product capabilities; ability to maintain and enhance an existing MDM implementation built by a third‑party vendor.
- 8+ years of software development experience supporting enterprise‑scale systems.
- 8+ years of Java / J2EE experience (Java, JSP, REST/SOAP services) with strong production troubleshooting skills.
- 5+ years experience working with Linux/Unix OS (command line, log analysis, system‑level troubleshooting).
- Hybrid work schedule: in‑office 2 days per week; remote work not available.
- Local candidates preferred; non‑local candidates must relocate to Lansing, MI at their own expense before project start.
- Not just a Java developer; emphasis on IBM Info Sphere MDM experience.
