The Position: AMEWAS is seeking a highly motivated and talented Subject Matter Expert (Aviation-NGTS)-Journeyman to support Battlespace Modeling & Simulation. The salary range of this position is $ – $ and is commensurate with experience. This position is eligible for remote work as needed.

Position Background: The Synthetic Environment Modeling (SEM) team is a government run organization that develops an advanced suite of software products supporting modeling and simulation (M&S) environments. The SEM product users include trainer systems; test and evaluation (T&E); analysis; live, virtual and constructive (LVC); research and development (R&D) activities for DoD agencies and its international partners. All products are government owned, developed and managed.

The Next Generation Threat System (NGTS) is the flagship product. NGTS is a continually evolving synthetic environment generator that supports multiple platform/services training, testing, analysis and research and development.
