We are seeking a freelance JavaScript developer with deep expertise in Adobe’s UXP (Unified Extensibility Platform) to build custom extensions and automation tools for Adobe Premiere Pro. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in modern JavaScript frameworks, particularly Vue.js, and understand the unique requirements of developing within Adobe’s creative ecosystem.

• Design, develop, and maintain UXP-based extensions and plugins for Adobe Premiere Pro to streamline post‑production workflows
• Build intuitive user interfaces using Vue.js within the UXP framework, ensuring seamless integration with Premiere Pro’s native UI patterns
• Leverage the Premiere Pro UXP API to programmatically interact with timelines, sequences, effects, markers, and media assets
• Develop automated workflows and batch processing tools that reduce repetitive tasks and improve production efficiency
• Collaborate with video editors, producers, and creative teams to understand workflow pain points and develop custom tooling solutions
• Optimize extension performance and ensure compatibility across different versions of Premiere Pro
• Write clean, maintainable, and well‑documented code following Adobe’s UXP development best practices
• Debug and troubleshoot complex issues within the Adobe UXP environment

• 3 years of professional JavaScript development experience
• Hands‑on experience developing UXP extensions or plugins for Adobe Creative Cloud applications
• Strong proficiency in Vue.js (2.x or 3.x) with demonstrated ability to build complex, reactive user interfaces
• Working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, including understanding of video editing workflows, timelines, sequences, and effects
• Experience with the Premiere Pro UXP API and familiarity with its capabilities for programmatic manipulation of project elements
• Solid understanding of modern JavaScript (ES6), including async/await, promises, modules, and component‑based architecture
• Experience with state management patterns and libraries (Vuex, Pinia, or similar)
• Proficiency with Node.js, npm, and modern JavaScript build tools (Webpack, Vite, etc.)
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently on complex technical challenges
• Excellent communication skills with ability to translate technical concepts for non‑technical stakeholders

• Experience with React and ability to work across multiple JavaScript frameworks
• Previous development experience with Adobe Extend Script or CEP (Common Extensibility Platform)
• Familiarity with other Adobe Creative Cloud applications (After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator) and their APIs
• Background in video production, post‑production, or broadcast workflows
• Experience with Type Script and strong typing in JavaScript applications
• Knowledge of video codecs, formats, and media file handling
• Experience with RESTful APIs and integration with third‑party services
• Contributions to open‑source projects or published Adobe extensions
• Understanding of UI/UX design principles for creative professional tools
