Principal Specialist, Global Trade; Remote

• Assist with developing export authorization strategies for international marketing, sales, and manufacturing of defense articles
• Prepare and submit export/import license applications and manage authorizations
• Provide updates on export/import authorization status to leadership and program teams
• Interpret ITAR and EAR for stakeholders
• Facilitate approvals for export/import of controlled goods and services

• University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree with minimum 3 years' experience
• Experience researching and applying ITAR and EAR regulations
• Proven track record in managing ITAR and EAR export authorizations
• Familiarity with Global Trade tools and systems such as DECCS, SNAP-R, or SAP-GT
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow through on assignments

• Advanced degrees such as an MBA or Masters in International or Legal Studies
• Ability to maintain a collaborative online presence and adapt to changing requirements
• Self-motivated and results-oriented approach to problem-solving
• Strong communication skills to present recommendations and solutions
• Experience in conducting training for international business activities
