Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (Contract)

Be among the first 25 applicants for a 6‑12 month contract focused on maintaining and evolving the company’s on‑prem and cloud server and middleware environments. This position is fully remote but requires relocation to Omaha, NE at the end of the contract period. Relocation expenses may be covered, but cannot be guaranteed at this time.

• Day‑to‑day maintenance, planning, and support for the on‑prem and cloud server and middleware environments.
• Partner with business, IT Security, Software Development, and other IT Infrastructure teams on projects to ensure secure delivery and upkeep of business initiatives.
• Participate in research and development of technical architecture, tools, products, and processes.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to project team members and technical staff.
• Continuously develop skills in technologies applicable to on‑prem and cloud environments.

• Three or more years related work experience in IT systems engineering and/or cloud environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field or equivalent work experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft M365 cloud technologies.
• Experience with server and cloud virtualization technologies.
• Experience in public, private, and hybrid cloud computing environments.
• Recent and current Windows Server and workstation operating systems.
• Project management/leadership experience (preferred).
• ITIL or similar methodologies experience (preferred).
• Experience working in an Agile environment (preferred).
• Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.).
• Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong analytical, planning, organizational, project management, and communication skills.
• Self‑motivated, works independently, and functions effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $75.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. This is a Contract position based out of Omaha, NE. This is a fully remote position.
