Senior Network Operations Engineer

• Manage and execute tasks related to network operations, expansion, and maintenance.
• Travel to the Sacramento data center for network expansion, troubleshooting, and implementing important changes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve LAN/WAN incidents, including complex issues.
• Collaborate with engineering and QA teams on requirements, design, and planning phases.
• Maintain network documentation and operational procedures.
• Support production changes and participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation.
• Work with vendors on hardware procurement and evaluate new network solutions.
• Assist customers with circuit provisioning, VPNs, and connectivity.

• Advanced BGP and Multicast:
  Expertise in configuration, optimization, and troubleshooting.
• Load Balancers:
  Hands-on experience with F5 and A10 for configuration, management, and troubleshooting.
• Advanced Switching:
  Deep understanding of VLANs, vPC, STP, QoS, and troubleshooting Layer 2/3 networks.
• Firewall Operations:
  Strong skills in configuring NAT, VPNs, ACLs, and security policy troubleshooting.
• Linux Basics:
  Networking, packet capturing, and traffic analysis using tools like tcpdump.
• IGP Routing Protocols:
  Deep understanding of OSPF and IS-IS, including configuration and troubleshooting.

• VXLAN-EVPN, IPsec, SNMP, DNS.
• Experience with automation (e.g., Python scripting).
• Familiarity with large-scale data center environments and cabling/rack build-outs.

The estimated base salary range for this full-time position is $112,872- $170,000 plus bonus and benefits, and can vary if outside of this location. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, competencies, experience, market demands, internal parity, and relevant education or training.
