Title: Python Developer

Location: Remote

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data ingestion frameworks and ETL pipelines using Python, PySpark, and AWS services.
• Build and optimize data pipelines leveraging AWS technologies such as Redshift, S3, Dynamo
  
  DB, EMR Serverless, Lambda, and Step Functions.
• Develop and maintain robust data models, ensuring efficient data warehousing, transformation, and integration across multiple platforms.
• Write complex SQL queries and optimize database performance for relational databases like Postgres, Redshift, and MySQL.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment, utilizing JIRA to track development progress and ensure timely delivery.
• Implement Dev Ops and CI/CD best practices to automate data pipeline deployments and improve overall system reliability.

• 5+ years of data engineering experience with a proven track record of designing and implementing scalable ingestion framework
• 3-4 years hands on experience on the AWS platform using Redshift, S3, Dynamo
  
  DB, EMR serverless, Lambdas, Step Functions, etc.
• Proficiency in ETL development and design using Python, PySpark, Big Data (Hadoop/SPARK)
• Strong SQL knowledge, RDBMS experience on any recognized database (Postgres, Redshift, MySQL, etc)
• Deep understanding of data modeling, ETL processes and data warehousing concepts
• Experience in working with Agile Methodology and scrum processes.
• Use of JIRA in Agile development
• Knowledgeable about Dev Ops and CI/CD best practices
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
