Sr. QA Analyst - Remote

Our client, headquartered in Columbus, is seeking a remote Senior QA Analyst to join their team. This role will ensure the delivery of high-quality software through rigorous testing, automation, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

• Champion QA best practices and promote quality standards across the development team
• Collaborate with Engineering Managers, Project Managers, and Product Owners to define requirements and acceptance criteria
• Perform hands-on testing across platforms, including API testing and backend testing
• Develop and execute test plans and test cases, leveraging automation to accelerate test cycles
• Utilize SQL for data validation and backend testing
• Manage and report defects using JIRA and maintain documentation in Confluence
• Contribute to robust, scalable solutions for functional, regression, and performance testing

• 4+ years of QA experience in software testing and quality assurance
• Proficiency in SQL for database validation and query-based testing
• Experience with API testing and backend validation
• Hands‑on experience with JIRA for defect tracking and workflow management
• Knowledge of QA automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cucumber, Ruby)
• Strong understanding of cross‑platform/browser compatibility testing methodologies
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
