Overview

Deutsche Bank is seeking an individual to join the eDiscovery Services team. The team is responsible for the Bank’s data retrieval, retention, and transfer of electronically stored information to internal requestors and external third parties to meet legal, compliance and regulatory requirements.

The role involves managing preservation activities, including quality controls, troubleshooting technical issues, keeping abreast of best practices and new eDiscovery tools, etc. The role requires a high level of integrity to ensure the preservations are right first time, every time. You will also be able to demonstrate a high level of discipline, making sure processes are followed in a consistent manner.

Skills You’ll Need
  • Bachelor’s degree that is IT‑related or with a legal‑focus (essential). Master’s degree is preferred. eDiscovery subject matter expert and eDiscovery work experience with a company, law firm, professional service provider.
  • Experience in client relationship management. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to positively influence and motivate stakeholders and team members through robust dialogue, facilitation, and persuasiveness. Ability to engage across a range of backgrounds and levels of seniority with the ability to translate technical terms into language that non‑technical persons can understand. (essential)
  • Exhibit exceptional leadership qualities by setting a clear vision, motivating teams, and leading by an example. Demonstrate unwavering commitment to the organization’s mission, values, and global objectives. (essential)
  • Extensive experience in executive leadership, with a minimum of 15 years of experience in a similar capacity. (essential). SQL, Big Query, Programming and/or scripting experience is a plus
  • Detail oriented, analytical mindset, and strong organizational skills. Proven experience with identifying opportunities for automation or simplification of repetitive tasks. (essential)
What You’ll Do
  • Effective communication with stakeholders within and outside their own area of expertise, ensuring transparency and alignment with organizational objectives. Putting the client first, act as primary point of contact and liaison for preservation requests between the legal team, eDiscovery group, technical staff, business staff and vendors to ensure proper communication between all parties.
