DBHDS - Cloud Engineer 2 / Server Admin

This is a hybrid role with 80% Cloud Engineering duties and 20% Server Administration responsibilities. Must pick up equipment in person.

Work 80% on Cloud Engineering, 20% on Server Administration.

• Intermediate proficiency specifically with the AWS Cloud Platform and familiarity with standard software engineering industry best practices.
• Strong experience implementing full-stack web applications leveraging React, Node.js, Type Script on the front-end, and implementing serverless back-end APIs leveraging AWS Lambda and No
  
  SQL databases (eg. AWS Dynamo
  
  DB).
• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Node.js).
• Solid understanding of version control (e.g. Git), Dev Ops practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Analytical mindset and problem‑solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate across diverse teams and build relationships with stakeholders.
• Passion for learning new technologies and staying updated on tech trends.

• Experience in on-prem (Windows Server), cloud and hybrid infrastructure, with a focus on delivering scalable, resilient, and secure solutions.
• Industry certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect/Developer – Associate level).
• Microsoft Server Engineer certifications.

• Windows Server Administration (Server 2019 & Server 2022) – Required 10 Years.
• Intermediate proficiency specifically with the AWS Cloud Platform – Required 10 Years.
• Strong experience implementing full‑stack web applications – Required 5 Years.
• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Power Shell, Node.js) – Required 5 Years.
• Solid understanding of version control (e.g. Git), Dev Ops practices and CI/CD pipelines – Required 8 Years.
