Senior Infrastructure Engineer

• Provides a high level of support and consulting in all supported environments, usually requiring research.
• Leads multiple complex technical projects and completes project tasks.
• Evaluates new technologies and methods, focusing on improving efficiency and automation to advance development productivity.
• Helps set the direction for the technical infrastructure of the environment.
• Reduces overall risk posture within the Windows environment for R&D, prioritizes reduction of existing vulnerabilities and implements an effective, repeatable vulnerability‑management process.
• Acts as a technical lead in guiding junior engineers.
• Works without supervision on the most complex projects with complete latitude for discretion and independent judgment.
• Understands R&D development/engineering processes and workflows, focusing on improving efficiency and automation to advance development productivity.
• Supports R&D teams in all regions and serves as the point of contact for Windows‑related issues.
• Helps lead Windows‑management teams to improve and automate existing processes (Tanium, SCCM, etc.).

• Minimum bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or Computer Engineering.
• Microsoft Windows (Server/Client) administration experience (10+ years).
• Break‑fix and troubleshooting skills on individual endpoints and at scale.
• Software‑development lifecycle (SDLC) experience (5+ years) with a strong Dev Ops background.
• Proficiency in Power Shell, Python, Puppet, Ansible, SQL, and Git (Git Lab‑CI/CD experience required).
• Understanding of containers, Docker build, and integration with Git Lab; knowledge of branching, tagging, and release management.
• Experience with configuration‑management tools such as SCCM or equivalent.
• Advanced design and implementation of automation solutions for operational and software‑engineering teams.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for cross‑functional teamwork.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code principles and the use of IaC tools.
• Familiarity with Dev Ops practices, continuous integration and deployment, and version‑control systems.
• Problem‑solving ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.
• Advanced skills and knowledge of the field and technical expertise.

Siemens offers a variety of health and wellness benefits to our employees. The pay range for this position is $109,800–$197,700 annually with a target incentive of 5–8% of the base salary. Actual wages may vary based on budget, experience, skills, qualifications, and geographic location.
