A global technology leader in network solutions is seeking a Program Manager, Business Development to join its growing team in the Americas.
In this role, you’ll be part of the Future Business group, helping define and guide innovative new business initiatives. You’ll drive programs that bring next-generation cloud and data platform services to market while collaborating closely with cross‑functional partners across Sales, Marketing, Channel Operations, and Technology.
This position requires strong business acumen, technical understanding, and an ability to navigate complex projects involving new business models and commercialization strategies. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience with cloud data platforms and a background in service‑based or SaaS business models.
This is an onsite position based out of the Chelmsford, MA area, with partial flexibility for remote work. Candidates located near a major airport and able to work on an Eastern Time Zone schedule may also be considered. Travel, including some international trips, may be required up to 50%.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee planning, execution, and delivery of incubation projects aligned with strategic goals and business objectives.
- Facilitate clear communication and coordination among internal teams, extended stakeholders, and external partners.
- Work collaboratively to define new initiatives and strategies for the incubation project pipeline.
- Act as a subject matter expert in areas such as Business Intelligence, Cloud/Connected Services, Data, AI, or IoT Platforms.
- Partner cross‑functionally to reduce barriers and increase awareness around emerging solutions and opportunities.
- Provide ongoing reporting and updates to management on program status, KPIs, and key outcomes.
- Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and customer or partner engagements.
- Foster a culture of innovation, creativity, and collaborative problem‑solving within the team.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 8+ years of experience in program management, business development, or account management, ideally in an incubation, emerging technology, or startup environment.
- Strong project management capabilities, including the ability to identify risks, remove roadblocks, and ensure timely, high‑quality delivery.
- Experience with services or SaaS‑based models is highly valued.
- Proven ability to build trusted relationships at all levels internally and externally.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Comfortable working across virtual, distributed, and global teams.
- Demonstrated leadership, strategic thinking, and analytical problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time, both regionally and internationally as needed.
