Blue Mantis is seeking a skilled and motivated Systems Administrator with demonstrated expertise in both Mac and Windows environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and supporting a variety of IT systems, providing top‑tier help desk escalation support, and leading technical projects. This role requires proficiency with Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions—including JAMF and Microsoft Intune—as well as privileged access management and inventory oversight.
The successful candidate will support both on‑premise and remote office operations, collaborating effectively with peers and adapting quickly to new technologies.

- Compensation: $70,000 - $95,000 / year
- Serve as the escalation point for Help Desk issues, resolving complex technical problems across Mac and Windows platforms.
- Administer, configure, and support Mac environments, including system upgrades, security policies, and user management.
- Manage and maintain MDM solutions, particularly JAMF for Mac and Microsoft Intune for Windows devices.
- Support and maintain Microsoft Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications for end users.
- Oversee privileged access management to ensure secure and compliant access to critical systems and data.
- Manage hardware and software inventory, ensuring assets are tracked, updated, and compliant with company policies.
- Provide on‑premise and remote technical support to staff, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues as needed.
- Lead technical tasks and projects, collaborating with peers to deliver solutions on time and within scope.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and demonstrate the ability to quickly learn and apply new skills.
- Participate in audit processes.
- Foster mentorship with teammates.
- Proficiency in both Mac (macOS) and Windows environments, including system administration and user support as well as imaging systems.
- Advanced knowledge and support for Azure/Microsoft Entra
ID/M365. - Networking experience.
- Hands‑on experience with MDM solutions, specifically JAMF and Microsoft Intune.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and troubleshooting techniques.
- Familiarity with privileged access management tools and best practices.
- Experience with inventory management systems and asset tracking procedures.
- Ability to provide high‑quality support in both on‑premises and remote office settings.
- Demonstrated aptitude for quickly learning new technologies and procedures.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and project leadership skills.
- Ability to support physical infrastructure (some heavy lifting may be required).
- Some travel required as needed to support company events.
- Relevant IT certifications (e.g., JAMF, Microsoft, CompTIA) are a plus.
- Experience in a multi‑site or hybrid work environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to enact upon a high level of urgency and accountability for the organization.
- Ability to manage changing priorities.
Pay Structure: This range is based on our market pay structures. Individual salaries and hourly pay rates are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to, business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
