Rx Savings Solutions (RxSS), part of McKesson’s Cover My Meds  business segment, is seeking a talented Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our team. You will ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of critical healthcare technology systems.

• Preferred candidates reside in Columbus, OH, or hub locations:
  Overland Park KS, Irving TX, Atlanta GA. Home-based with occasional in-office.
• Unable to offer employment visa sponsorship.

• Design, implement, and maintain robust, scalable infrastructure and applications for high availability, performance, and disaster recovery.
• Develop automation scripts, tools, and processes to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
• Establish and maintain monitoring, alerting, and logging systems to proactively identify and diagnose issues.
• Participate in on-call rotations, respond to incidents, and conduct post-mortems to identify root causes.
• Collaborate with development teams on capacity planning and optimization.
• Promote a culture of reliability, share best practices, and mentor peers.
• Create and maintain clear documentation for systems, processes, and runbooks.
• Contribute to security best practices implementation.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2+ years of experience in SRE, Dev Ops, or related software engineering role.
• Strong proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python, Go, Ruby, Bash).
• Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP); AWS preferred.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools.
• Experience with monitoring/observability tools (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk).
• Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems.
• Fundamental understanding of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, load balancing).
• Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills.
• Strong verbal & written communication ability.
