Network Controller Security Clearance

Position: Network Controller with Security Clearance
Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Network Controller to support a program focused on mission command and control networks for national security organizations. This role provides support for global DoD network operations. This role is onsite in Scott Airforce Base, Illinois. Responsibilities for the Network Controller include:
* Provide high-level technical support for DISN customers and global network operations.
* Diagnose and repair circuits using router commands, loops, alarms, and error analysis.
* Utilize network monitoring systems and ticketing tools (e.g., Remedy) to track, escalate, and resolve issues.
* Train and guide network controllers, offering technical insight and leadership when needed. Qualifications for the Network Controller include:
* 5+ years of hands-on networking experience (High School diploma required).
* DoD-8570 IAT Level II certification (Security+ CE or equivalent) required
* Ability to thrive in a 24/7 mission-critical environment supporting global operations.
* Skilled in alarm surveillance, fault management, LAN maintenance, and performance monitoring.
* Advanced expertise with routers, switches, crypto devices, Cisco, Juniper, DWDM, Optical Switching, and related technologies.
* Active Secret clearance with eligibility to obtain and maintain Top Secret clearance. Compensation & Benefits for the Network Controller include:
* Compensation Range: $28 - $40/hr (depending on experience)
