Position: Senior Security Engineer (Secret Clearance) with Security Clearance
Zachary Piper Solutions is hiring a Senior Security Engineer to work in a remote capacity. This individual will be responsible for performing security audits, risk analysis, vulnerability testing, and implementing technical solutions to mitigate security risks. This is a direct placement role with a primary remote work location and requires an active Secret clearance. This is a great opportunity to join a growing team in the IT space Responsibilities for the Senior Security Engineer:
* Perform security audits, risk analysis, application-level vulnerability testing, and security code reviews.

* Develop and implement technical solutions to mitigate security vulnerabilities.

* Conduct research to identify new attack vectors.

* Support mainframe systems with scanning and other security-focused operational tasks.
Qualifications for the Senior Security Engineer :
* 8+ years of professional experience with 5 years of experience in security audits, risk analysis, vulnerability testing, and code reviews.
* 5+ years of experience developing and implementing security solutions.
* Experience working within Agile methodology.
* Proficiency with Nessus, Splunk, Dynamic Application Testing Tools, and Bitbucket.
* Experience in cloud-native architecture and container security in AWS.
* Experience working in a Kafka infrastructure (preferred).
* Ability to build and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines.
* Strong understanding of federal security requirements.
* Active Tier 3 Secret clearance.
* Bachelor's Degree in related field Compensation for the Senior Security Engineer : :
* Salary range: $110,000 - $115,000 annually
