About the role
As an ETL Informatica Developer
, you will make an impact by designing, developing, and maintaining robust ETL solutions that ensure data integrity and support business‑critical applications. You will be a valued member of the Data Engineering team
, collaborating closely with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality data solutions in a dynamic environment.
- Design and develop ETL workflows using Informatica Power Center to support data warehousing and migration projects.
- Manage production support operations, troubleshoot issues, and implement permanent fixes to ensure application stability.
- Lead and mentor team members, ensuring SLA adherence and optimizing workflows in high‑pressure environments.
- Oversee Azure deployments and manage project progress through Azure Dev Ops, including pipeline integration and user story tracking.
- Create dashboards and reports in Service Now to monitor ticket lifecycle and analyze root causes for continuous improvement.

What you need to have to be considered- 5+ years of experience in ETL development, production support, and application maintenance.
- Strong expertise in Informatica Power Center and data management processes.
- Hands‑on experience with Azure deployments and Azure Dev Ops for project tracking.
- Proficiency in SQL development, data analysis, and advanced Excel.
- Experience with scheduling tools like Maestro and Control‑M.
- Knowledge of SAP BODS and conceptual understanding of ETL tools like Pentaho, Data Stage, and SSIS.
- Familiarity with Power BI and IBM Cognos for data visualization and dashboard creation.
- Strong understanding of ER modeling for OLTP and dimensional modeling for OLAP.
- Experience working in Lean and Scaled Agile environments.
- Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and leadership skills.

Salary and Other CompensationApplications will be accepted until December 19, 2025
The annual salary for this position is between $70,000 – $80,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
