Systems Analyst - Enterprise Asset Management

At Jones Edmunds, we help communities thrive through innovative engineering and consulting solutions. We’re looking for an experienced EAM Systems Analyst with strong technical expertise in GIS and information systems to support asset management solutions for public infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities- Direct the work of EAM professionals, GIS Analysts, and GIS Technicians on a project‑by‑project basis.
- Configure information systems and software to meet business entity requirements.
- Acquire, develop, build, and update relational databases, including enterprise GIS databases.
- Manage and analyze complex datasets, including creating reports using SQL Server Reporting Services or comparable tools.
- Analyze asset data to support capital planning, rate studies, and regulatory compliance.
- Develop dashboards and reports for performance benchmarking and strategic decision‑making.
- Provide timely troubleshooting support for GIS and information systems software.
- Integrate GIS elements with other technologies for marketing and web‑based communication.
- Write, edit, install, verify, and update programs used for accessing, maintaining, linking, and populating databases.
- Develop, maintain, and implement policies and procedures to ensure accuracy of information system implementations.
- Provide technical expertise during proposal development and client presentations.
- Mentor and train clients and coworkers on technical topics.
- Prepare concise and accurate written correspondence.
- Perform technical tasks independently or within teams in accordance with project scope, schedule, and budget.
- Track progress on project tasks relative to scope, deliverables, schedule, and budget.
- Develop and implement testing strategies and ensure implemented products meet company requirements.
- Conduct training on new products and assist with updating product documentation.
- Communicate project status, issues, and risks to management.
- Education:
BS/BA in Geography, Planning, Computer Science, Engineering, GIS, or a related field. - Experience:
Minimum 6 years in an Analyst or GIS Analyst role supporting enterprise applications, providing operational and process improvement support, and working with RDBMSs or ESRI ArcGIS/Arc Server software, Windows OS, and web‑enabling technologies. - Technical
Skills:
Experience with .NET, IIS, SQL/T‑SQL, Python, CSS/HTML, JavaScript, SSRS/SSAS/SSIS, Crystal Reports, web services, or APIs is a plus. - Other:
Valid driver’s license with an acceptable MVR.
