We are seeking a passionate and highly experienced Staff Product Designer to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of our products, driving design excellence, and delivering delightful customer experiences across cross‑functional projects.
Key Responsibilities- Lead Web3 Design Initiatives:
Define, own, and deliver end‑to‑end design for core decentralized services, DApps, and protocols. - Collaborate Across the Chain:
Work closely with engineering and protocol teams to understand technical constraints on blockchains like Ethereum and Solana. - Advocate for Decentralized Design Systems:
Champion a flexible yet robust design system for high‑security interfaces such as wallets and staking mechanisms. - Prototype with Precision & Speed:
Rapidly design, prototype, and test new features, reducing friction in Web3 flows (wallet connection, transaction signing, gas fees, seed‑phrase security). - Mentor and Grow the Guild:
Provide education on securing and usability challenges in decentralized design; lead design critiques focused on crypto UX best practices. - Integrate Crypto and FIAT Experiences:
Create seamless interactions between crypto withdrawals and traditional benefits. - Distill Technical Complexity:
Translate cryptographic concepts into clear user narratives and interfaces. - Communicate Across Communities:
Facilitate transparent, inclusive dialogue with anonymous users and core developers.
- Deep Passion for Decentralization:
Active participant in the Web3 ecosystem. - Extensive Design
Experience:
7‑9+ years as a Product Designer, with at least 2 years leading as a Staff Product Designer. - Data‑Informed Design:
Use qualitative research, protocol analytics, and on‑chain metrics to inform decisions. - Comfortable with High‑Stakes Ambiguity:
Deliver clarity in a rapidly changing ecosystem. - Balance User Ownership & Protocol Integrity:
Empower ownership while ensuring protocol security. - Strong Communicator & Educator:
Translate blockchain mechanics for mainstream audiences. - Mentorship
Experience:
Proven track record of guiding designers through security and usability challenges. - Cross‑Functional
Collaboration:
Embedded work with blockchain engineers and smart contract developers. - Industry Knowledge:
Solid expertise in Crypto, DeFi, and digital asset management.
- Experience designing high‑stakes interfaces for wallets or DeFi platforms.
