The company is currently building a holding-company technology platform to connect and optimize systems across multiple business entities and is seeking an experienced Hands-on Executive Programmer to lead the development and architecture of this enterprise framework.
About the RoleAs a Hands-on Executive Programmer
, you will serve as a strategic technology leader and core member of the executive team, responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-level systems that span RCA’s portfolio of companies. You'll combine hands-on programming expertise with long-term architectural vision to shape the company's future technology infrastructure.
You’ll collaborate directly with C-level executives, translating business goals into scalable technical roadmaps, overseeing software engineering operations, and driving innovation across the organization.
Responsibilities- Architect, design, develop, and deploy enterprise systems supporting multiple businesses under the holding company structure.
- Partner with executive leadership to translate business objectives into actionable technical strategies and measurable outcomes.
- Build and evolve a shared, scalable framework including APIs, data pipelines, and systems integrations.
- Lead end-to-end software lifecycle activities: requirements gathering, prototyping, development, integration, deployment, and iteration.
- Establish and enforce standards for code quality, architecture, governance, and review protocols.
- Stay actively hands-on with code, performing debugging, optimization, and performance tuning.
- Deliver executive-level reporting including dashboards, risk assessments, and strategic technology proposals.
- Ensure alignment of technology initiatives with financial, operational, security, and compliance objectives.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and oversee due diligence for technical integrations and potential M&A opportunities.
- Mentor, guide, and grow internal engineering and development teams.
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Approximately 12+ years of full-stack software development experience, including systems architecture and large-scale integration.
- Proven expertise with:
- Modern backend languages, microservices, APIs, and data platform design
- Cloud infrastructure and data engineering workflows
- Event-driven architecture, messaging, and workflow automation
- Security protocols and identity management (OAuth, SSO, RBAC)
- Integration of ERP, CRM, or financial systems within broader enterprise architecture
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to executive and non-technical stakeholders.
