What You'll Do

Principal is seeking a curious, self-motivated Procurement Analyst with a background in supply chain and a passion for data and analytics. In this role, you’ll partner with our Global Sourcing team—both domestically and internationally—to drive procurement insights, enable smarter decision-making, and increase visibility across our sourcing initiatives.

This is a highly collaborative role where you’ll help build scalable reporting dashboards, use AI tools to create automated workflows and work closely with category sourcing consultants to uncover opportunities and support strategic execution. You’ll also engage with leaders across international offices, helping elevate data quality, analysis, and insights globally.

Responsibilities
  • Build, maintain, and automate dashboards and reports to track progress against annual sourcing and procurement goals.
  • Own and lead key analytical processes supporting international sourcing initiatives, including data collection, cleansing, normalization, spend analysis, categorization, KPI tracking, and insight development.
  • Assemble and analyze data from multiple systems to develop insights that inform Global Procurement strategies.
  • Develop data extraction and analysis workflows using AI tools and Robotic Process Automation.
  • Partner with Category Sourcing Consultants to support category strategies and sourcing projects through data-driven analysis.
  • Support implementation and adoption of new procurement technology solutions, increasing transparency and reporting capabilities.
  • Manage internal communications related to reporting, analytics updates, and data changes.
Who You Are
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field; supply chain management or management information systems preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in analytics, reporting, and purchasing or supply chain operations.
  • Strong analytical mindset with a genuine curiosity for solving business problems through data.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., data imports, lookups, pivots, data cleanup).
  • Experience extracting and analyzing data from multiple systems (e.g., Coupa, People Soft).
  • Proficiency with Power BI for dashboarding and data visualization.
  • Demonstrated ability to automate reporting, analyze complex datasets, and highlight performance against targets.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain insights clearly.
  • Comfortable learning new tools and applying technology to improve processes and outcomes.
Ideal Candidate (Preferred)
  • Technical, hands‑on mindset with an interest in experimenting with and applying new tools.
  • Experience designing or maintaining workflows in Microsoft Power Automate.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Forms, Power Automate, Copilot Studio, or other AI‑enabled tools.
  • Ownership experience with Power BI dashboards.
  • Functional knowledge of sourcing and procure‑to‑pay processes.
