About The Role: We are seeking qualified contractors to fulfill the role of an IT Deskside Support Specialist
, who will leverage their call center experience, customer service skills, problem solving, and attention to detail to deliver a positive customer experience.

The right candidate will enjoy building relationships with customers, adapt quickly to change, and demonstrate grit that will inspire others to strive for superior results. This opportunity is open to individuals located in the San Antonio TX Area
.

Additionally, the role requires access to reliable internet and the ability to manage all responsibilities from a home office. The project hours of operations will be Monday – Friday
, in which candidate must be available to work an 8-hour shift between 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM Eastern Time
.

Contractors will be engaged and paid by a third‑party payroll supplier,
BCforward
, which will serve as the employer of record for tax and compliance purposes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and support IT production systems and services for end users
  • Drive incident, issue, and outage management, including investigation and restoration activities
  • Provide exceptional technical support by promptly addressing user inquiries and resolving issues
  • Document and track incidents, resolutions, and service improvements
  • Engage in proactive communication with stakeholders regarding service status and updates
  • Participate in problem‑solving sessions and contribute to team knowledge sharing
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices through ongoing training
Deliverables or Project Scope
  • Timely resolution of user‑reported IT incidents and service requests
  • Thorough documentation of support activities and outcomes
  • Continuous improvement in customer satisfaction and service quality
  • Active participation in IT production system maintenance and improvement initiatives
Basic Qualifications
  • Minimum 1 year of live Help Desk call experience
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred;
    Associate’s degree may be considered
  • Ability to work remotely and reside within 30 minutes of San Antonio, TX
  • Exposure to Help Desk ticketing systems (e.g., Service Now, Jira Service Management)
  • Exposure to Remote communication tools (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Outlook)
  • Proficiency in IT support platforms and troubleshooting methodologies
