Computer Technician

We are currently looking for a Computer Technician in San Jose, California, United States
. In this role you will ensure the smooth operation, maintenance, and security of computer systems and network infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include supporting employees, troubleshooting technical issues, and implementing hardware and software solutions. You will monitor system performance, perform routine updates, and recommend technology improvements while collaborating across departments to meet technology needs and maintain detailed records of IT activities.

• Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripheral devices
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, and network systems
• Set up, monitor, and maintain secure network connections and IT infrastructure
• Perform routine maintenance, system updates, and backups to ensure data integrity
• Provide technical support to employees and deliver training on new systems or software
• Maintain detailed documentation of IT activities, inventory of equipment, and recommended upgrades
• Collaborate with other departments to identify and address technology needs
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and propose improvements to optimize operations

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications or technical training preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a computer technician or similar IT role
• Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking systems
• Proven experience troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
