ABOUT THE JOBCadence is hiring an Operations Associate/Manager to join our Business Operations team. This is a systems-focused role, ideal for someone who enjoys fixing broken processes, reducing manual work, and enabling teams to operate at peak efficiency.
You’ll work directly within our internal systems and tools—not as a support function, but as an operator focused on streamlining workflows, documenting processes, and launching internal improvements that stick. You’ll be hands‑on with everything from Google Sheets to Salesforce, Notion, and Slack, and you should be excited about using AI tools to reduce busy‑work and improve execution.
This is a fully remote position and will begin as hourly contract work, with the intent to convert to a full‑time, monthly salaried role based on performance and mutual fit within the first few months.
Key Responsibilities Process Design & Execution- Identify friction in our day-to-day operations and implement sustainable process improvements.
- Build workflows that improve task routing, team accountability, and data hygiene.
- Document and maintain internal processes using Notion.
- Maintain internal trackers and dashboards using Google Sheets and lightweight scripting tools.
- Help build and troubleshoot automations in Salesforce (e.g., Flows, validation rules) and Slack.
- Use AI tools and no-code platforms to simplify manual tasks and reduce turnaround time.
- Monitor project and task statuses across tools, and flag blockers or delays.
- Organize updates for the Biz Ops team and ensure documentation stays current.
- Assist with onboarding workflows, operational checklists, and quarterly planning prep.
- 3–7 years of experience in operations, business support, or internal systems roles, ideally in the primary research or language services industry.
- A bias toward structure, clarity, and “getting things out of people’s heads and into systems.”
- Proficiency in Google Sheets (formulas, filters, and conditional logic a must).
- Working knowledge of Salesforce is preferred, especially for maintaining fields, records, or automations.
- Familiarity with Slack, Notion, and AI tools like ChatGPT or Zapier.
- High attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple workflows with minimal oversight.
- Strong written communication skills.
