• Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Databricks, PySpark, and AWS.
• Work with large, complex datasets in production environments.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable Python and advanced SQL.
• Build pipelines from scratch, not just maintain existing ones.
• Ensure data quality, performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate closely with product, analytics, and engineering teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and data engineering best practices.

• 7+ years of experience as a Data Engineer.
• Strong, hands‑on experience with Python, advanced SQL, PySpark, Databricks (production experience required), and AWS.
• Proven experience designing and building end‑to‑end data pipelines.
• Solid understanding of distributed data processing and data modeling.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.

This is a fully remote position; however, candidates must be based in regions that align with the Pacific, Central, or Eastern U.S. time zones.
