Aspen Tech’s Industrial Data Fabric, Inmation, is a world-class, real-time, scalable OT/IT data connectivity, storage and contextualization platform. It ingests industrial data like temperatures, pressures, flows, alarms and events, qualities and images by connecting to plant/refinery floor instruments, PLC systems, DCS systems, historians, MES and LIMS systems. Inmation isn’t limited to time series data like heritage historian. It also manages relational, structured, file and image data, putting the data in ISA 95 context and uniting the operational data with IT data obtained from ERP and other systems.

As the need for contextualized, state-based data grows to support AI and Machine Learning solutions, Inmation is the critical industrial data fabric poised to provide the full suite of data required.

Inmation is also a critical component of Aspen Tech’s platform integration strategy. Inmation provides the raw data required to power Aspen Tech’s industry leading advanced process control, real-time optimization, multi-variate analysis, planning, scheduling and engineering solutions. Increasingly, it will serve as the glue uniting Aspen Tech’s heritage solution suites.

We are seeking an advisory solution consultant, either from within our organization or externally, to lead the solution architecture associated with major account opportunities. The role’s major responsibility is to work closely with our regional Sales Account Managers and regional solution consultants to drive large enterprise Inmation deals toward close.

This role is customer facing. This person will articulate the Inmation Industrial Data Fabric to key customers, architect the solution, describe how Inmation fits into existing OT and IT systems, and technically sell customers on the Inmation vision and solution.

This is a unique position for an exceptional Consultant to take on a high visibility role leading technical sales engagements at Aspen Tech’s largest and most critical accounts. This role requires an individual who is equally comfortable engaging with C-Suite executives as well as taking deep technical dives on OT and IT data fabrics, technologies and solutions with OT and IT subject matter experts.
Your Impact

• This is a customer facing role. The Inmation Solution Architect must exemplify outstanding presentation, discussion and sales acumen in addition to deep technical understanding.
• The Inmation Solution Architect masters Aspen Tech Inmation and MES solutions, including presentation layers like Aspen Inmation Data Studio, Inmation Web Studio, A1PE and others.
• Demonstrates Industry, OT and IT credibility sufficient to persuade C-Suite executives and customer technical experts to consider Inmation as part of their critical OT and IT infrastructure
