In the Contract MLOps / AI Platform Engineer role at Value Driven Solutions, you’ll construct resilient, shared AI infrastructures that empower multiple portcos to collaborate securely—think private VPCs with feature stores (Feast), model registries (MLflow), and LLM gateways (LiteLLM)—while isolating sensitive data and controlling costs to under 20% of projected savings. Up to 75% travel for infrastructure handoffs, you’ll audit existing stacks for scalability gaps and architect platforms supporting 100+ models, enabling rapid experimentation and deployment that accelerates value capture by 25%.

Focus on automation:
IaC with Terraform, monitoring with Prometheus/Grafana, and CI/CD via Git Hub Actions, ensuring zero‑downtime updates and compliance (SOC2, audit logs). You’ll optimize for multi‑tenancy, federated access, and cost governance (spot instances, pruning), validating via load tests and presenting TCO analyses to CFOs. For platform wizards who have industrialized MLOps in federated environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design 24‑month platform roadmaps, aligning with portco tech stacks.
• Implement core components: orchestration, versioning, serving, and observability.
• Ensure security/scalability: RBAC, encryption, auto‑scaling.
• Migrate legacy pipelines and benchmark performance/costs.
• Document and train for handover, fostering self‑service.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s in CS/Eng; 5+ years MLOps, 2+ in shared platforms.
• Expertise:
  Kubernetes, Kubeflow, AWS/GCP services.
• Proven: >50% infra cost reductions in prod.
• Dev Sec Ops  fluency and troubleshooting.
• Collaborative for multi‑team alignments.

Preferred Experience:

• Platforms for PE with data isolation.
• LLM‑specific ops (vLLM, TGI).
• Integrations with MES/ERP.
