Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Data) to join our growing team. In this role, you will leverage your deep technical expertise to design, develop, and optimize data pipelines and AI models that drive decision-making within the financial services sector. You will directly impact the way financial services use data and blockchain technology to make operations more secure, efficient, and accessible.

This is a remote crypto job with the opportunity to work on innovative projects that shape the future of cryptocurrency, DeFi, and blockchain-based finance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and Develop Scalable Solutions:
Lead the development of scalable data pipelines and AI models that integrate complex datasets for intelligent decision-making in the crypto and financial sectors.

• Collaboration and Leadership:
Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify business needs, translate them into technical solutions, and foster a culture of innovation and knowledge sharing.

• Data Management and Optimization:
Use Open Search for optimizing data storage and retrieval, ensuring data quality and consistency across sources for blockchain technology solutions.

• Innovation and Research:
Explore emerging technologies in AI and data science, proposing innovative solutions to enhance DeFi platform and cryptocurrency capabilities.

• Performance Monitoring and Optimization:
Continuously monitor and optimize the performance of data pipelines and AI models to ensure high performance, reliability, and scalability.

• Security and Compliance:
Ensure the privacy and security of sensitive financial data and adhere to industry regulatory requirements and best practices in data governance.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field, with strong foundations in data science and AI.

• Experience with Databricks:
Hands-on experience with Databricks for big data analytics, machine learning model development, and deployment.

• Expertise in Open Search:
Strong proficiency in Open Search for indexing, search, and analytics, optimizing data storage and retrieval for blockchain applications.

• Software Development

Skills:

Expertise in Python or similar programming languages, with the ability to develop scalable and robust data solutions.

• Industry

Experience:

At least 5-7 years of experience in the financial services industry, with a focus on challenges and opportunities in cryptocurrency, DeFi, and blockchain technology.

• Excellent Communication

Skills:

Strong teamwork, communication, and collaboration abilities to work effectively in fast-paced, cross-functional teams.

Base Pay:

The expected base pay for this role is between $190,000 and $265,000 USD, with additional compensation opportunities such as performance-linked bonuses, equity, and a competitive benefits package. The actual compensation will be based on your skillset, experience, and qualifications.
