The Work

Our Digital Modernization Division is an information technology and management consulting department that offers integrated, strategic solutions to public and private sector clients. • Manage, maintain, and optimize Oracle databases (installation, configuration, patching, upgrades).
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability and security.
• Implement backup and recovery strategies using RMAN and Data Guard.
• Plan and execute data migration from Oracle to Pega applications.
• Collaborate with Pega architects and developers to ensure smooth integration.
• Validate data integrity and performance post‑migration.
• Write and optimize PL/SQL scripts, stored procedures, and triggers.
• Support application teams with database‑related development tasks.
• Assist in building automation scripts for deployment and testing.
• Work closely with Dev Ops, QA, and application teams to support CI/CD pipelines.
• Document processes, configurations, and migration steps.

Remote work is authorized. Must support US Eastern time zone working hours.

• Candidates must obtain and maintain a Public Trust.
• Candidate must reside in the U.S., be authorized to work in the U.S., and all work must be performed in the U.S.
• Candidate must have lived in the U.S. for three (3) full years out of the last five (5) years.
• High‑school degree with at least 8+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA.
• Docker experience and/or an understanding of containerization.

• Strong knowledge of Oracle ecosystem (Oracle 12c/19c, RAC, ASM, RMAN).
• Hands‑on experience with PL/SQL development.
• Experience with Pega migration or integration projects.
• Familiarity with performance tuning and troubleshooting.
• Understanding data modeling and ETL processes.
• Experience with Pega PRPC platform.
• Knowledge of Java or other programming languages for integration tasks.
• Exposure to cloud environments (AWS, Azure).
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and automation frameworks.
• Previous experience in a government contracting environment.

• Highly effective analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making capabilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interface effectively at all levels of the business.
• Organized, detail‑oriented, and able to prioritize and multi‑task.
• Strong oral and written communication skills and the willingness to use them.
• A strong sense of ownership and engagement.

There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.

The pay range for this position based on full‑time employment is:

$89,203.00 - $ Nationwide Remote Office (US99)
