Role OverviewAs a Technical Adoption Manager (TAM), you will serve as a trusted advisor, driving a cross‑functional, unified customer experience using your technical, communication, and collaboration skills to help our customers achieve their full potential through the adoption of VMware's technology.
Success in the Role- Within one month: articulate customer key business objectives and desired outcomes; begin crafting a joint Success Plan.
- Serve as a trusted advisor, ensuring best‑in‑class execution, recommending improvements in customer operations, proactively driving consumption, customer health, and retention.
- Articulate long‑term and short‑term goals, identify gaps, and develop a structured engagement plan.
- Complete relevant technology assessments, roadmap reviews, deployment guidance, best practices reviews, and day‑2 operations guidance.
- Identify customer use cases and opportunities for prescribing Adoption Guidance and Workshops.
- Present achievements and customer progress in Quarterly Business Reviews.
- Communicate key VMware solution topics across all customer levels to drive realized value and long‑term strategy.
- Continuously grow and enhance technical knowledge and soft skills through VMware’s structured quarterly training programs.
- Leverage proven customer‑facing experience and draw on enterprise‑level virtualization expertise to map VMware solutions to unique business and technical requirements.
- Use TAM playbook, delivery kits, and tools to guide customers through success planning, technology roadmaps, solution guidance, performance optimization, operational alignment, industry insights, benchmarking, and cost savings.
- Build relationships and communicate effectively with CxO‑level personnel.
- Collaborate with multi‑functional VMware project teams.
- Track customer plans, adjust as needed, and drive to completion.
- Contribute to the global TAM community by sharing experiences with peers.

Bachelor's degree preferred; relevant experience may be considered.
12+ years related experience.
Compensation & BenefitsThe On Target Earnings (OTE) range is $151,900 – $243,000, including sales incentive commission. Eligible for equity.
