Positioned at the intersection of AI ethics, mental health, and narrative psychology, the organization is dedicated to building non-coercive, user-centered systems for long-term psychological support.
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Chief Scientist based in Denver, CO, with opportunities for remote work. The Chief Scientist will lead research initiatives and oversee the application of innovative methodologies in large language models and AI systems related to psychological continuity and narrative modeling. Responsibilities include developing research strategies, designing and implementing machine learning algorithms, conducting published research, and fostering ethical practices in AI development.
The Chief Scientist will also collaborate closely with cross-disciplinary teams to shape the strategic vision and technological roadmap for Mirrorr AI.
- Substantial expertise in advanced Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, and Natural Language Processing techniques.
- Proven experience with Narrative Modeling, Contextual Memory Mapping, and AI Ethics.
- Strong background in Research, including publishing in peer-reviewed journals, experimental design, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
- Knowledge in Human-Computer Interaction, Data Ethics, and Privacy-preserving systems design.
- Strategic leadership experience and ability to mentor teams to address complex challenges in a cross-functional environment.
- Doctorate (Ph.D.) in Computer Science, Cognitive Science, Psychology, or a related field is required.
- Experience in the healthcare or mental health domain is a strong advantage.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills, communication abilities, and a commitment to ethical AI applications.
