TEKsystems is partnering with a leading telecom provider to find a Project Coordinator who thrives in fast-paced environments and is passionate about delivering infrastructure projects that connect communities.
What You’ll Do
As a Project Coordinator, you’ll be the operational backbone of critical telecom infrastructure and construction projects. You’ll ensure everything runs smoothly—from procurement and scheduling to compliance and documentation—so that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate cross-functional project activities, ensuring alignment across engineering, procurement, and field teams.
- Manage procurement workflows: vendor coordination, funding approvals, contract execution, and material tracking.
- Support logistics including travel planning, meeting scheduling, and stakeholder communications.
- Process requisitions for NTPs, service contracts, change orders, and telecom-specific materials.
- Maintain meticulous documentation: site files, permits, schedules, and close-out packages.
- Monitor project schedules, track site progress, and resolve operational issues proactively.
- Leverage tools like Docu Sign and Smartsheet to streamline workflows and ensure data integrity.
- 5+ years of experience in project coordination, ideally in telecom or infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of telecom project life cycles, including site acquisition and service activation.
- Experience with federally funded projects is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, MS Project, and Smartsheet.
- A proactive mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- Experience supporting wireless builds.
- Familiarity with revenue recognition processes in telecom.
- A knack for documentation and compliance.

Pay And Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
