• Triage, investigate, and respond to alerts from the Huntress platform
• Conduct tactical reviews of EDR telemetry, log sources, and forensic artifacts to identify attack root causes and necessary remediations
• Perform tactical malware analysis during the investigation and triage of alerts
• Investigate suspicious Microsoft M365 activity and provide necessary remediations
• Contribute to detection engineering creation and tuning efforts

• 2+ years of experience in a SOC or Digital Forensics (DFIR) role
• Demonstrated experience with Windows, Linux, and MacOS as an attack surface
• Knowledge of basic Threat Actor tools and techniques, including the MITRE ATT&CK Framework
• Effective communication skills to explain complex events to less technical audiences
• Strong sense of curiosity and eagerness to learn

• Previous experience in an MSP/MSSP/MDR role
• Experience with scripting languages such as Power Shell, Python, or Bash
• Investigative experience with Linux and MacOS
• Participation in cybersecurity competitions such as Capture the Flags
• Familiarity with cloud-based investigations (e.g., M365, Azure, AWS)
