Remote Network Engineer – will work East Coast Time Zone

This is a 3 month assignment

Start Date - First Week of January

• Manage the task force of Level 1-3 network engineers and admins.
• Drive training, mentoring, and performance reviews.
• Coordinate cross-functional projects with system, cloud, and security teams.
• Define enterprise network strategy (LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, wireless, security).
• Align network design with business continuity and scalability goals.
• Oversee hybrid networking (on-prem + cloud: Azure).
• Forecast network infrastructure budgets.
• Negotiate contracts with Cisco, Fortinet, VMware, and ISPs.
• Manage licensing and compliance for network hardware/software.
• High-level design for Cisco routing/switching, wireless, and security.
• Oversee Cisco Client deployments for NAC and identity-based access.
• Manage Fortinet SD-WAN, firewall clusters, and security policies.
• Enterprise wireless strategy using Cisco WLC, DNA Center, and RF planning.
• Implement secure onboarding and guest access via Client.
• Azure networking governance (VNets, Express Route, VPN Gateways).
• Hybrid connectivity and security integration.
• Define automation standards using Ansible, Python, and APIs.
• Drive adoption of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for network provisioning.
• Implement Zero Trust and segmentation strategies.
