0113112] for Program Support on a Exempt W2:
No Overtime Pay Basis Contract Contingent generally located across the CONUS - Richland, Washington. Support DOE EM Hanford in a Federal, regulated, high-stakes nuclear cleanup environment requiring multidisciplinary contractor support, compliance oversight, and mission assurance.
The Safety and Security Compliance Coordinator supports professional services engagements for Environmental Management Sector Clients such as the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE). This is a Contract Contingent or Contract W-2 (IRS-1099) engagement under Job Task Category 05 Assistant Manager for Safety, Environment, & Quality (AMSE/AMSQ). Pro Sidian reserves the right to convert to a full-time W-2 position.
Job OverviewProvide services and support as a Safety and Security Compliance Coordinator (General Support Services for Hanford Field Office) in the Environmental Management Industry Sector, focusing on Environmental Services Solutions for clients such as the DOE.
Location:
Pacific Northwest Region, primarily Richland, WA; initial work site address: 2440 Stevens Center Place, H520, Richland, WA 99354. On-site at Hanford Field Office with some remote support as approved.
- Conduct safety assessments, oversee compliance, track metrics, and support incident investigations.
- Support Program Office #05 AMSE/AMSQ under Job Task #05.24 – Safety and Security Compliance Coordinator with support functions across various safety, environmental, regulatory, and technical areas.
- Coordinate DOE directives and standards programs, ensure compliance, and provide technical support.
- Facilitate administration and coordination of DOE Technical Standards and Departmental Directives; enable risk assessment and continuous improvement through oversight, communication, and training across HFO.
- Coordinate safety and security compliance activities to support the Hanford cleanup mission.
- 5–8+ years of safety/security oversight; DOE experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Safety/Industrial Hygiene; CSP/CIH helpful.
- Experience aligning with Environmental Management Sector and AMSE/AMSQ functional areas; experience supporting Oversight and General Support Services is expected.
- Program and project management support for daily activities and program support tasks.
- Safety inspections, compliance analysis, and reporting.
- Observation, coaching, vigilance.
- Develop safety performance dashboards.
- Functional attributes include Safety & Security compliance coordination.
- Work may include a broad spectrum of support responsibilities with potential staffing variations (+/− up to 15%).
- Travel as coordinated with the technical point of contact and approved in writing by the CO in advance (per Federal Travel Regulations).
- Security requirements:
Pro Sidian personnel shall have a Facility Clearance as needed; some work may require a DOE clearance level. - Place of performance:
Hanford Field Office and Hanford Site, Richland, WA. - Government-furnished resources: office space, computers, and required software provided at HFO; performance primarily on-site with some approved remote work.
Field-based role with PPE required.
