Sr. Data Engineer (Remote) – Crowd Strike
As a Senior Data Engineer, you will design and build reusable data integration components, frameworks, and libraries at scale to support Operational Data Store and Enterprise Data Lake platforms.
What You’ll Do- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, automated, framework‑driven data pipelines using scripting languages such as Python, Airflow, dbt, and cloud databases like Snowflake and Redshift.
- Implement data integration solutions for sources such as SFDC, Product Telemetry, Net Suite, and other systems, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
- Collaborate closely with Dev Ops and data scientists to support data platform automation needs.
- 12+ years of experience designing and developing data pipeline automation that extracts data from cloud API‑based sources. Experience with complex automation frameworks, queries, data modeling, and ETL processes in SQL, Python, dbt, Apache Airflow, or similar.
- Deep experience with scripting languages such as Python and cloud databases like Snowflake and Redshift, to facilitate rapid ingestion and dissemination of key data.
- Proficiency in transforming structured and unstructured data. Experience with CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins, Git Lab CI/CD, and source control tools like Git Hub.
- Ability to identify and solve data management issues to improve data quality and to clean, prepare, and optimize data for ingestion and consumption. Work with Data Engineering teammates to review design, code, and test plans to increase knowledge and application of core frameworks and methodologies.
- Experience working with internal and external stakeholders to address data‑related technical issues and support data infrastructure needs.
- Proven track record integrating and managing business data from enterprise applications to drive analytics and insights.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related IT discipline; or equivalent professional experience.
